Create a segment/audience with prompt

Overview

Building the perfect segment just got faster and smarter. Instead of manually searching through hundreds of attributes, you can now simply describe the audience you want in plain English. Wondaris uses advanced AI to instantly transform your description into the correct combination of Customer, Event, Segment, and Enrichment filters, doing the technical heavy lifting for you so you can focus on your strategy.

Instructions: How to Build Audiences with a Prompt

Follow these steps to generate a segment using natural language:

1. Access the Prompt Tool: Navigate to the Create Audience or Create Segment and look for the "Prompt" input area at the top of the builder interface.

2. Describe Your Audience: Type a clear description of the customers you want to target into the text box.

   • Example: "Identify customers who have a 'Platinum' membership status but haven't made any purchased in the last 60 days."

3. Generate Filters: Click Generate Audience. Wondaris will analyze your request and automatically populate the filter blocks below with the corresponding logic. Also, the Explanation block will appear. Review this to see exactly how the AI interpreted your prompt into specific filters.

4. Review and Refine:

   • Check the Logic: Briefly review the generated Customer, Event, Segment or Enrichment filters to ensure they match your intent.

   • Manual Tweaks: You can still manually adjust any specific values, dates, or operators within the filters if you need to fine-tune the results.

   • Failed Generations: If the AI cannot process the request, it will ask you for further clarification. Look for the Suggestions box that appears; it will provide tips or alternative attributes to help you fix the prompt. You can then further explain your query in the prompt box.

   • Important Note on Re-running: If you have existing filters and decide to run a new prompt, the AI will overwrite everything. The prompt tool starts from scratch and will not consider any filters currently in the builder.

5. Save Your Audience: Filters are temporary and are not saved until you take the final step. Once you are satisfied with the filters, click Create, then give your audience a name to finalize your new segment.
