Release - July 2nd 2024

This release of Wondaris focuses on enhancing your experience with the platform, introducing key features, and improving overall stability and performance. We've listened to your feedback and worked hard to deliver improvements across the Centralise and Explore platforms, with a special emphasis on data ingestion, segmentation, and event tracking.

πŸ”₯What’s new

  • Control Your Event Sending: You now have granular control over your event sends. Manage the total number of allowed event sends per month for your licence, ensuring you stay within your limits and optimise your marketing spend. You will also be notified if you are approaching or have hit your limit. This new feature is accessible through a new UI within the platform.

  • Enhanced Data Exploration with Count Aggregator: We've added a "Count" aggregator to all event fields for all behaviour filters in Explore. This gives you greater flexibility when analysing your event data and building highly targeted segments.

  • Filter Audiences and Segments by Activation Schedule: Quickly identify and manage your audiences and segments based on their scheduled activation status. This simplifies your workflow and ensures your campaigns run on time.

  • Dry-Run CDP Ingestion: Test your CDP ingestion process without affecting your live data. The new dry-run functionality allows you to preview the results of your ingestion before it goes live, ensuring data accuracy and preventing errors. This includes a new button in the Centralise platform and the ability to see dry-run ingestion logs.

  • Delete MDS Tables: You can now delete MDS (Marketing Data Store) tables directly from the platform, giving you greater control over your data storage.

  • "Text" Format Type for Numeric Fields: Numeric fields can now be displayed as "Text" in the platform, offering more flexibility in how you visualise and use your data.

  • Improved Event Data Send Statistics: The statistics of Event Data Sends in Destinations have been improved, providing you with richer insights into your event tracking and performance. This includes a new chart for destination event sends and additional columns in the destination event sends table.

πŸ”§ Fixes and Improvements

Improvements

  • Enhanced Loading Experience: We've added loading icons and clear result displays in Enrichment scope when filtering customers, improving the user experience and reducing confusion.

  • CSV Upload Syncing: You can now manually trigger a sync for all awaiting sync files uploaded via CSV upload.

  • Streamlined ML Model Management: Removing all recommended fields in Advanced ML models can now be done with a single click.

  • Improved CDP Ingestion Error Handling: The "CDP Ingestion Already running" message in Explore has been refined to avoid unnecessary alarms.

  • Friendly Labels for DBT Model Tables: Tables created from DBT models now display user-friendly labels in the metadata.

  • Audience Card Updates: The Audience card in Explore now updates when its attached activation is deleted, ensuring data consistency.

  • DBT Model Mode Label: The label for model mode in DBT models has been clarified.

  • Optimised Redis Connections: We have made improvements to increase Redis connections, leading to better performance.

Fixes

  • Segment/Audience Filtering: You can now successfully create and preview segments/audiences containing filter enrichment models. We've also fixed issues with segment filter results when segments have behaviour filters or are cloned, and ensured correct results when filtering by event fields.

  • ML Enrichment Model Results: Investigated and resolved a reported decrease in results for ML models with the same configurations.

  • Categorical Field Filtering: Resolved errors when filtering categorical fields in audiences, segments, and source connections.

  • Group Filter Issues: Fixed an issue where filters could not be added after deleting a group filter in Explore.

  • Scheduled Activation Filtering: Corrected the display of next scheduled activation date/time when hovering on activation status. Also fixed issues with audience/segment status when activations are deleted or changed.

  • Event Data Sends Charting: Resolved issues with the Event Data Sends chart, including incorrect dates, incomplete information display, and handling of data sent on the same day with various fields.

  • MDS Ingestion Naming: MDS Ingestion can no longer be saved without a name.

  • Data Previewing: Fixed an issue preventing data preview when filtering audiences/segments with specific event field types and aggregators.

  • Oath Return Issues: Resolved an issue with Oath not returning when using a Destination in both Event and Customer contexts (e.g., Campaign Manager).

  • Explore Aggregators: Added missing aggregators for filters within OR/AND groups in Explore.

  • Data Uploader Permissions: Resolved an issue where users with specific roles could not trigger "sync now" in the Data Uploader.

  • Advanced ML Enrichment: Ensured the "set Confidence" option is displayed when viewing a saved model.

  • Explore Account Switching: Fixed an issue preventing users with only an MDP account from switching from Explore to MDP.
