Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Data Extension
Overview
This connector enables you to send and activate your subscribers into a Data extension of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). A data extension in SFMC is a table with fields of data about your contacts. For more information about Salesforce Marketing Cloud, click here.
Instructions
Pre-requisites for using Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Data Extension in Wondaris
A pre-requisite for Wondaris to access the Sales Force Marketing Cloud (SFMC) API is to add a special “API Integration” package to your account. Please follow these steps to add it:
Step 1 - Install & Create a Package
This is required before you can add a component.

Step 2 - Add API Integration Component
Navigate to the package created in Step #1 and under Components
Click Add Component, and select a component. Choose to create “API Integration“
Please add all the following redirect URLs for all Wondaris production environment

Please enable Scope and Permissions for all the Data Extension scope and permissions.

Using in Wondaris
Go to
Create DestinationSelect Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Data Extension destination type card
Connect a customer app:
a. Click Add New to add a custom app to authorise to your SFMC account
b. Fill in the app setup screen with the required data:
App Name- Name your app anything you like.Client ID- Client ID issued when you created the API integration in Installed Packages.
SFMC - Authorization Code ReferenceClient Secret- Client secret issued when you created the API integration in Installed Packages.
SFMC - Access Token for Web and Public App IntegrationsMID- Your Marketing Cloud Member ID (MID) for your SFMC accountAPI Subdomain- Your subdomain which is represented by a 28-character string starting with the letters "mc"
c. Click Next
4. Fill in the SFMC Import Data Extension Connection Setup
Connection Name- Name your connection. This is a required field.Description- Though optional, it's a best practice to describe the connection for future reference.Data Extension External Key- Insert the External Key - A unique value that identifies the data extension. You can find it on the Properties of the Data Extension. This is required.
Choose whether or not another user can override these settings when activating (Allow Override checkbox)
Available Fields
The destination fields are automatically predefined based on data fields in the Data Extension. Any newly added fields that SFMC - Data Extension allows can be added manually when mapping.

There is no user choice or control with this destination - please ensure you are aware of your data subject's rights when using this connector for anything.
