Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD) SSO Setup

The following are the high-level instructions for setting up single sign-on (SSO) access to Wondaris using your Azure Active Directory.

 

Please note that the following Azure AD configuration instructions may differ depending on your Azure AD configuration.
Please consult Azure AD documentation if you need any help.

Part 1 - Onboarding of the Wondaris Azure AD Enterprise App

Step 1.1

Provide the username of your Azure AD Administrator to the Wondaris team so a user can be set up to allow you to manage the initial access to the Wondaris Azure AD Enterprise App.

Step 1.2

Login to Wondaris using your Azure AD Administrator user and accept the Wondaris App.

The following are the steps to connect with the Wondaris Azure AD Enterprise App.

  • Accept the Wondaris App Permissions

  • Successfully Logged In to Wondaris

Step 1.3

Now you can manage and configure the Wondaris Application with your Azure AD account.

Step 1.4 [Optional]

You can now restrict and control access to the Wondaris Application within your Azure AD Account by only allowing access to users that you have expressly granted access to the Wondaris App.

  • Restricting Access within Azure AD to the Wondaris App to only specific users by setting the Assignment Required to Yes

Part 2 - Setup and enable your Wondaris Users

Step 2.1

Provide your user(s) to be created within the Wondaris Explore platform to your account representative or directly to our support email (support@wondaris.com).

Provide the following for each user:

  • Name - first and last name

  • Azure AD Username - this will be the username they use to access Wondaris and must match a user within your AD.

  • Wondaris Role - please choose the appropriate role for each user from the following list Roles & Permissions | Explore

The Wondaris team will confirm when your users have been set up and are ready to access Wondaris.

If you have not configured any restrictions to the access to the Wondaris App within Azure AD, then your users can now access Wondaris by going to https://explore.platform.wondaris.com/ and click Login and then Sign in with Microsoft

Step 2.2 [Optional]

This is only required if you have chosen Assignment Required for the Wondaris App within your Azure AD configuration, as explained in Step 1.4. This must be done before your users attempt to login to Wondaris

  • Add User(s) to the Wondaris App within your Azure AD account.

Now all users that have been set up in Wondaris from Step 2.1 and then Assigned to Wondaris in Step 2.2 can access Wondaris by going to https://explore.platform.wondaris.com/ and click Login and then Sign in with Microsoft
