Creating an audience with an intelligence chart segment

Customer Intelligence

The Customer Intelligence Module provides you with out-of-the-box audiences based on statistical, Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to give you an extremely valuable and enriched view of your customers. These audiences are accessible via the configurable and customisable Customer Intelligence dashboard.

The out-of-the-box models may include:

  • Recency, Frequency and Monetary value (RFM)

  • Customer Lifetime Value (cLTV)

  • Multiple demographic breakdowns

  • Propensity models

    • Purchase

    • Churn

Access to and the accuracy of these models may be affected by the data points available within your data, and some ML and AI require time to learn/train to improve the accuracy of their output.

Wondaris also has the capability to set up Bring your own models(BYOM) and Custom models to better suit your business. BYOM can be set up if you already have a pre-trained model and this data is available within Wondaris while with Custom models Wondaris will train the model once the data is made available to it. Both options may incur additional costs and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to factor in the time & effort involved in configuring these models.

Instructions

Key steps include:

  1. Selecting ‘Customer Intelligence’ from the side panel or ‘Understand your Customer’ from the Dashboard

  2. Select the relevant customer data source that you want this intelligence from - This is likely to be preselected to “All Customers”. If there are no other options, then no other source filters have been created - please contact support@wondaris.com if you would like to set up pre-filtered views for your dashboard.

  3. Use the included models to identify an audience you want to target
    Taking the RFM model above as an example: This model categorises customers into segments based on purchase history parameters to create cohorts of customers that mirror each other’s buying behaviour.

    You can select any segment in this grid to either activate or clone that segment. For instance: choosing the top right-most segment representing high-value customers who have not purchased recently and are now high churn risk customers.

    From the segment details, we can see that there are 64,597 high churn risk customers, across various age groups, locations and gender.
    Note: Segment details can be customised based on available data for your customer base.

     

  4. Select the relevant customer segment from the model to either Activate or Clone (for further segmentation)

  5. Choose activate to push this segment into the desired destination by clicking ‘Activate’ and following the steps mentioned on Creating and scheduling an activation

    Click 'Activate' to push the audience into a destination
  6. Or choose clone to run additional queries on this segment to build a more targeted audience by using the same steps mentioned on Creating an audience with audience builder

    Cloning Audiences using this feature allows you the ability to access the power of the model but refine it to better fit your desired use case. Selecting “Clone” will take you to the “Audience Builder” where additional behavioural or attribute filters can be applied.

    Click Clone for further queries/filters on this audience segment
