Data Security

Is my data stored in the platform?

No - your data is directly accessed by the platform’s servers and displayed in the front-end of the platform to the end-user. This data does pass through our servers but is NEVER stored on disk.

Data is also processed by our servers when you activate data - this is done via service accounts in pure back-end servers (i.e., no public internet-facing servers). This data again does not get stored on disk at any time.

What security measures do you have in your platform?

Wondaris has been designed to provide enterprise-level security and data protection including:

  • Second to none security protocols on our servers.

  • Best in class monitoring.

  • Full role-based access control within the platform for your users.

  • Automated, third-party penetration testing.

  • Automated, third-party vulnerability scans of not only our servers, but also of our codebase.

  • End to end encryption - between all of the services we use secure cryptographic protocols (either SSL or TLS) and regularly rotated encryption keys for all storage within every server.

Who owns the Data?

You retain full ownership of your data and any hit/API based enrichments that occur while an active client with Wondaris.

What happens if I Cancel?

If you choose to cancel your Wondaris licence, your data remains in an isolated GCP environment. All Wondaris data pipelines, enrichment modules, architecture, IaC (infrastructure as code) will be removed as is all Wondaris identity resolution, metadata, and other CDP processes including some governance.

We also disconnect all accesses to your data that our platform has.

Is my data isolated from other data?

Yes - every Wondaris deployment has single-tenanted data infrastructure. It is logically separated from all other customer data using best in class cloud separation.

For the more technical readers, this means that the data infrastructure is inside it’s own GCP Project (equivalent of an AWS Account).

Can I keep data in my data centres?

Yes! We run on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with support for other public clouds at some stage in the future; the data infrastructure can be stored inside your GCP Org.

Can I change from Wondaris hosting our infrastructure (SaaS) to myself hosting it (PaaS)?

Absolutely. This is a key capability of our platform and we have some simple how-to guides in this knowledge-base to get you and your cloud teams familiar with the process. The process must include the Wondaris technical team at this stage, and as always we are here to support you in your needs, so do reach out to support@wondaris.com if you have any questions.
